Helpful Answers Before You Arrive
A quick guide to some of the questions guests ask most often before booking and before check-in.
What are your payment terms?
A 50% deposit is required at the time of booking unless otherwise agreed to in writing. The remaining balance is due in full 30 days prior to check-in. Reservations made within 30 days of arrival must be paid in full at the time of booking.
How old do I need to be to book?
Guests making a reservation must be at least 26 years of age unless otherwise approved in writing. The person booking must be staying at the property for the duration of the rental and is responsible for the group and any visitors.
What time is check-in and check-out?
Check-in begins at 3:00 PM unless otherwise approved in writing. Check-out is by 10:00 AM sharp. These times are firm due to cleaning and turnover scheduling.
What is your cancellation policy?
All cancellations must be submitted in writing. If a guest cancels, all monies paid are non-refundable unless the reserved week is re-rented at the same rate. If the week is not re-rented, no refund will be issued.
Are linens and towels included?
Some properties provide linens and towels, and some do not. Guests should carefully review the property listing to determine whether linens are included. If linens are not provided, guests may bring their own or rent them separately through Bayside Linens.
Can I bring more guests or have visitors over?
Occupancy limits are strictly enforced, including children. Only guests listed on the reservation or approved in advance may stay overnight. Day visitors are allowed only if they do not cause the total number of people at the property to exceed the approved occupancy limit, and all visitors must leave by 10:00 PM unless otherwise approved in writing.
Are parties or events allowed?
No parties, events, receptions, large gatherings or functions are permitted unless specifically authorized in writing in advance.
What are the quiet hours?
Quiet hours are strictly observed from 10:00 PM to 8:00 AM. Guests must be respectful of neighboring homes, many of which are owner-occupied or occupied year-round.
Are pets allowed?
Pets are allowed only in designated pet-friendly properties and only when approved in advance. Additional pet fees, signed pet forms and restrictions may apply. Unauthorized pets are grounds for immediate eviction and additional charges.
Is smoking or vaping allowed?
Smoking and vaping are not permitted inside the property or on the premises unless specifically approved in writing.
What about parking?
Parking varies by property and may be limited. Guests may park only in designated spaces assigned to that property. If the listing does not specify parking for a certain number of vehicles, assume parking is limited.
What if an amenity is important to my stay?
If a specific amenity is important to your stay, please confirm it prior to booking. If an item or amenity is not specifically listed in the property description, plan on it not being provided.
- Coffee maker type
- Beach chairs or toys
- Grills
- Air conditioning
- Televisions or streaming services
- Laundry access
- Linens and towels
- Parking quantity
Do I need to do anything before departure?
Guests are not expected to deep clean, but they are expected to leave the property in good order. At departure, guests must remove personal belongings, bag and remove trash as instructed, follow linen instructions if applicable, return keys and parking passes as directed, and leave the property in reasonably tidy condition.
What if something breaks or needs maintenance during my stay?
Please report maintenance issues promptly so they can be addressed as quickly as possible. Tamarack Rentals, maintenance personnel, cleaners, contractors or the property owner may enter the property when reasonably necessary for repairs, maintenance, inspection or emergencies.
